I’m both a researcher and a scientist – I spend part of my week seeing patients and the other part doing research. I spent five years at medical school training to become a doctor and a further five years training to become a GP. I spent two years doing a Masters degree and three years studying for a PhD.

I’m not a medical doctor- I’m a chemistry doctor- but it took 4 years of Undergrad study, 3 years of PhD and 1year of work to get to where I am now!

I am just a Research Assistant, but to get her was 3 year for my degree at uni and then 8 years of hard work starting at the bottom and working my way up.

      Hope that helps
