  When the size of a component approaches the size of an atom we cannot describe its behaviour with classical physics anymore! We need to use the laws of quantum mechanics instead! This opens up a lot of possibility that will further advance what we can achieve with classical physics. One of the main aim of several scientists working in my field is to build a quantum computer. This computer would be much faster and powerful in comparison to what we have at the moment. It could run simulations and solve problems that would take years to a normal pc to solve!
