      Hello. Great question!
I do think there are other planets out there we havent discovered. Our ability to discover other planets and solar systems is improving all the time. I read a good statement about visualising how big space might be.

If you can think of a star as a grain of salt, then in space there is enough salt to fill up a olympic size swimming pool. Not every star will have a planet or planets with them but some will.

Do you think that on the planets we havent discovered there could be signs of life?

      YES!

I think that there are many more planets to be discovered. The Universe is so big and we know very little. We are learning something new everyday.

Just think of how many galaxies there could be that could be similar to ours and maybe hosts life!

      Absolutely!

It’s out of my area of expertise, but my knowledge is that the universe is constantly expanding.

I can’t even begin to imagine how small our planet is, never mind our galaxy… so I think we’ll never be able to map the whole universe

It’s not in my area of expertise, but I’ll give you my opinion 🙂

Space is so vast, and there are places that we haven’t explored yet purely because they’re so far away that people can’t live long enough to explore them! I don’t think we’ll ever know everything there is to know about space… 🙂

Yes, the Kepler space telescope is in space looking for planets right now. As of January 2015, Kepler and its follow-up observations had found 1,013 confirmed exoplanets in about 440 stellar systems, along with a further 3,199 unconfirmed planet candidates – I’m sure several of these unconfirmed planets will turn out to be planets.
